Scotts Valley High’s football team still has four games remaining in the Pacific Coast Athletic League Mission North Division, but the Falcons continue to look like the title is their’s to lose.

Senior guard Kaitlin Imai made nine 3-pointers and finished with 35 points as the No. 4 seed Scotts Valley High girls basketball team beat the No. 5 Carmel 51-32 in the Central Coast Section Division IV quarterfinals on Tuesday.

Soquel High’s football team made all the big plays in the second half of its showdown with North Salinas to rally past the Vikings 36-27 on senior night Saturday. And all of them were needed, as the Knights overcame deficits of 20-0 in the second quarter and 27-14 at halftime.
